Portsmouth City Council (Fourth Street) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.236) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 16th August 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
FOURTH STREET
From its junction with Cranleigh Avenue to St Marys Road.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
FOURTH STREET
From outside No. 16 Fourth Street to rear of No. 34 Cranleigh Avenue on both sides.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate CityFibre works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 16th August 2023 to 18th August 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Cranleigh Avenue – Shearer Road – St Marys Road and St Marys Road – Shakespeare Road – Hampshire Street – Shearer Road
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
