Portsmouth City Council (Clarence Esplanade) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.269) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 2nd October 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
CLARENCE ESPLANADE
From its junction with The Dell to South Parade.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Coastal Scheme works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 2nd October 2023 to 4th October 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Clarence Esplanade – The Dell – South Parade.
Pedestrians and cycles will be diverted around the works.
