Portsmouth City Council (Clacton Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.224) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 1st August 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
CLACTON ROAD
Between No. 4 and No. 30 on both sides.
HADLEIGH ROAD
From its junction with Clacton Road to No. 7 Hadleigh Road on both sides.
ROCHFORD ROAD
From its junction with Clacton Road to Hockley Close on both sides.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate CityFibre works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 1st August 2023 to 5th August 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
