Portsmouth City Council (Braintree Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.177) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 13th June 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
BRAINTREE ROAD
From its junction with Wymering Lane to outside No. 1 on both sides.
Duration: 13/06/2023 to 15/06/2023
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
BRAINTREE ROAD
From its junction with Tunstall Road to outside No. 25 on both sides.
Duration: 16/06/2023 to 20/06/2023
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate CityFibre works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 13th June 2023 to 20th June 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Works will be carried out in sections, as detailed above.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Wymering Lane – Sudbury Road – Tunstall Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
