Portsmouth City Council (The Thicket) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.146) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 25th July 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
THE THICKET
From outside No. 21 to No. 24.
THE THICKET (EASTBOUND)
From its junction with Albany Road to No. 24.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works to lay service from opposite carriageway to number 22.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 25th July 2022 to 29th July 2022 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles diverted from Albany Road – Elm Grove – The Thicket.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
