Portsmouth City Council (St Marys Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.100) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 6th June 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN
FRATTON ROAD
At its junction with St Marys Road.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN
FRATTON ROAD
At its junction with St Marys Road.
WOODLAND STREET
At its junction with St Marys Road
GUILDFORD ROAD
At its junction with St Marys Road
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate telecoms pole installation using an articulated lorry loader.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 6th June 2022 for 3 nights or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 18:30 to 04:30.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles diverted:
Southbound: Fratton Road – Goldsmith Avenue – Milton Road;
Northbound: Fratton Road – Kingston Road – New Road – Copnor Bridge – Milton Road – Baffins Road – St Marys Road Roundabout.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
