The Portsmouth City Council (St John’s Cathedral Catholic Primary School) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving) (No.86) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Portsmouth City Council, the Highway Authority, intends to make the above Order under Section 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Portsmouth City Council is satisfied that traffic on the said roads should be prohibited for the purpose of facilitating the holding of the following School Streets events and proposes to make an Order, the effect of which is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along the lengths of road for the times listed below. Pedestrian, resident, blue badge holders and emergency vehicle access will be maintained under traffic marshal control. The duration times in this Notice will be the maximum duration for each closure.
The Order will be in operation from 16th May 2022 and will continue in force until 15th May 2023 at the dates and times listed in schedule (i) of the full order.

From its junction with Arundel Street to its junction with Railway View.

Between 8:30 – 9:00 and 15:00 – 15:40 (Term Time – Weekdays only)
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FOR TRAFFIC
Railway View – Bridport Street – Upper Arundel Street – Arundel Street and vice versa.
