Portsmouth City Council (Race for Life and Pretty Muddy) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Waiting and Loading) (No.122) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Order comes into operation from 2nd July 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
CLARENCE ESPLANADE
From its junction with Jack Cockerill Way (west of its entrance to Pyramids car park) to west of the D-Day car park (240m west of its junction with Avenue de Caen).
AVENUE DE CAEN
In its entirety.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate the Race for Life and Pretty Muddy events.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 0700 on Saturday 2nd July 2022 until 1500 on Sunday 3rd July 2022, or completion of the event, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, the restrictions will be in place from 0700 to 1500 on each day.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles (including cyclists) diverted from Jack Cockerill Way to Clarence Parade to Duisburg Way to Pier Road to Clarence Esplanade and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
