Portsmouth City Council (Queen Street) (Temporary Footway Closure) (No.160) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order comes into operation from 5th September 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-

A) TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE

QUEEN STREET FOOTPATH SIDE OF 163 HARBOUR RIDGE LEADING TO PRINCE GEORGE STREET
From Queen Street to Prince George Street.

B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate scaffold works.

C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 5th September 2022 to 6th February 2023 for 22 weeks or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

D) DIVERSION
Pedestrians diverted from Queen Street – North Street – Prince George Street Footpath At Northern End Leading To North Street – Prince George Street or Queen Street – Cross Street – Prince George Street.
