Portsmouth City Council (Longshore Way) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.185) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order comes into operation from 24th October 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-

A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING

LONGSHORE WAY (SOUTHBOUND CARRIAGEWAY)
From lamppost No.1 (opposite 1-3 Stonemans View) to outside No. 5 Longshore Way.

LOCKSWAY ROAD
From its junction with Furze Lane to Longshore Way.

B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works to replace 245 metres of water main.

C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 24th October 2022 to 9th December 2022 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
