Portsmouth City Council (Locksway Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.1) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 4th January 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
LOCKSWAY ROAD (Eastbound carriageway)
From the junction Furze Lane to its junction with Solent Drive.
From its junction with Locksway Road to its junction with Towpath Mead.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate City Fibre ducting works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 4th January 2022 for 12 weeks until 25th March 2022 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works are expected to be completed in sections, as notified by letters to residents and businesses.
No vehicle diversion
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
