Portsmouth City Council (Jubilee Avenue) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.119) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 26th June 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
JUBILEE AVENUE
From the junction of Pamela Avenue to the junction of Truro Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate high level defect works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 26th June 2022 for 1 day or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, the works will take place between 07:30 – 15:30.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles diverted from Jubilee Avenue – Allaway Avenue – Southampton Road – Castle Street Roundabout – Station Road – Hill Road – Portsview Avenue – Jubilee Avenue and vice versa.
Cyclist diversion: Truro Road – Newbolt Road – Hillside Crescent – Connaught Lane or Rowland Road – Raymond Road – Hillside Crescent – Newbold Road – Truro Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
