Portsmouth City Council (Ironbridge Lane) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.55) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 28th March 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
IRONBRIDGE LANE
From the junction of Locksway Road to Towpath Mead.
DURATION: From 28th March 2022 – 22nd April 2022.
TIDEWAY GARDENS
In its entirety.
DURATION: From 28th March 2022 – 18th April 2022.
KINGSLEY ROAD (WESTBOUND)
From its junction with Tideway Gardens to its junction with Tranmere Road.
DURATION: From 4th April 2022 – 20th May 2022.
TRANMERE ROAD (SOUTHBOUND)
From its junction with Kingsley Gardens to Junction Glasgow Road.
DURATION: From 4th April 2022 – 20th May 2022.
LOCKSWAY ROAD
Outside and opposite Nos. 280 to 274 (both sides).
Outside and opposite No. 132 to its junction with Crofton Road (both sides).
DURATION: From 18th April 2022 – 20th May 2022.
MAYLES ROAD
From its junction with Locksway Road to 30 metres north.
DURATION: From 25th April 2022 – 13th May 2022.
SHELFORD ROAD
From its junction with Locksway Road for 30 metres north.
DURATION: From 25th April 2022 – 13th May 2022.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate City Fibre ducting works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 28th March 2022 to 20th May 2022 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place on the dates specified above for each length of road.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
