Portsmouth City Council (Fratton Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Right Turn) (No.4) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order comes into operation from 6th January 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-

A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN

FRATTON ROAD
At the junction of St Mary’s Road.

ST MARY’S ROAD
At the junction of Fratton Road.

B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate BT works.

C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 6th January 2022 for 1 night or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 19:00 to 05:30.

D) DIVERSION
Vehicles diverted from A2047 Fratton Road – Kingston Road – London Road – A288 Copnor Road – Baffins Road/ A288 Milton Road (and vice versa from St Mary’s Road) – Goldsmith Avenue – Fratton Rd.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
