Portsmouth City Council (Dugald Drummond Street) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.5) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 14th January 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
DUGALD DRUMMOND STREET
From the junction of Isambard Brunel Road for 70 metres to the east.
B) TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY
DUGALD DRUMMOND STREET
One way street suspended from the No Entry signs for a distance of 60 metres to the west.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate railway viaduct works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 14th January 2022 to 0600 on 24th January 2022 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles diverted from Dugald Drummond Street – Greetham Street. Access only to station car park and businesses from Isambard Brunel Road.
Pedestrian access to the railway station will be diverted from Greetham Street and Isambard Brunel Road to Station Street.
