Portsmouth City Council (Anglesea Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.60) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order comes into operation from 4th April 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-

A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING

ANGLESEA ROAD (NORTHBOUND)
At its junction with St Michael’s Road and King Richard 1st Road.

PARK ROAD (EASTBOUND)
At its junction with Burnaby Road.

B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate manhole replacement works.

C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 4th April 2022 for 1 night or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 22:00 to 05:00.

D) DIVERSION
Vehicles diverted from St Michael’s Road – King Richard 1st Road – Winston Churchill Avenue – Holbrook Road – Lake Road – Cornmill Street – Market Way – Alfred Road – Anglesea Road.
Park Road (eastbound diversion): Burnaby Road – Cambridge Road – St Michael’s Road and as above.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
