Portsmouth City Council (Moneyfield Avenue) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.47) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 14th March 2022 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
MONEYFIELD AVENUE
From the junction of Dover Road for 10 metres on the north side (opposite side of No. 182 Dover Road).
For 5 metres on the south side from 10 metres east from its junction with Martin Road (Side of 56 Martin Road).
For 10 metres on the north side from its junction with Martin Road (Opposite side of 56 Martin Road).
DOVER ROAD
For 5 metres from its junction with Moneyfield Avenue on the eastern side (outside No.182).
FOLKESTONE ROAD
For 5 metres on the east side from 7 metres north from its junction with Tangier Road (Side of 43 Tangier Road).
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works access.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 14th March 2022 for 18 months or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 7.30am – 5.00pm on weekdays only.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
