The Portsmouth City Council (Portsmouth RNLI 10k) (Prohibition of Driving) (No. 107) Temporary Order 2021
Portsmouth City Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding in the lengths of roads set out below.
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING
From 9.00am to 11.00am on Sunday 3rd October 2021, or at the discretion of the Chief Constable of Hampshire Constabulary. A rolling road closure will be in place and roads will reopen when it is deemed safe to do so.
FERRY ROAD From the Hayling Ferry pontoon to its junction with Fort Cumberland Road.
FORT CUMBERLAND ROAD From its junction with Ferry Road to its junction with Melville Road.
REASON FOR THE ORDER
The restrictions are necessary to enable the Portsmouth RNLI 10k 2021 to be held.
