The Portsmouth City Council (Play Out Pompey – Francis Avenue) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving) (No.69) Order 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Portsmouth City Council, the Highway Authority, intends to make the above Order under Section 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Portsmouth City Council is satisfied that traffic on the said roads should be prohibited for the purpose of facilitating the holding of the following School Streets events and proposes to make an Order, the effect of which is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along the lengths of road for the times listed below. Pedestrian, resident, blue badge holders and emergency vehicle access will be maintained under traffic marshal control. The duration times in this Notice will be the maximum duration for each event.
The Order will be in operation from 27th June 2021 and will continue in force until 12th September 2021 on the three dates at the times listed in the schedule below for the purpose of holding of play street events on the highway.

FRANCIS AVENUE From its junction with Devonshire Square/Jessie Road to its junction with Delamere Road for a distance of approximately 250 metres | Through traffic (including cycles and e-scooters) will be diverted to Jessie Road, Esslemont Road to Delamere Road and vice versa, or Devonshire Square, Jubilee Road to Delamere Road and Delamere Road, Bath Road, Devonshire Avenue to Devonshire Square. |
