Portsmouth City Council (Milton Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.88) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 9th August 2021 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
MILTON ROAD
(Northbound carriageway only)
From its junction with Rodney Road (including eastbound filter lane on Rodney Road) to the entrance to St Mary’s Hospital.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate City Fibre works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 9th August 2021 for 2 weeks or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 21:00 – 05:00.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles diverted from Rodney Road – Fratton Way – Goldsmith Avenue – Fratton Road – St Marys Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
