Portsmouth City Council (Mayfield Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.118) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 23rd October 2021 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
MAYFIELD ROAD
Between Randolph Road and Kensington Road from opposite house number 76 to opposite house number 153.
KENSINGTON ROAD
Between Mayfield school and Hewett Road from opposite house number 98 to opposite house number 132.
HEWETT ROAD
Between Kensington Road and Randolph Road from opposite house number 137 to opposite house number 45.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works for Mayfield school:
• Construct 2 No. Vehicle cross overs.
• Install high visibility pedestrian guardrail at various locations.
• Install road markings.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 23rd October 2021 for 4 weeks or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
No vehicle diversion.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
