Portsmouth City Council (Locksway Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.23) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order comes into operation from 22nd February 2021 and the effect will be as follows:-

A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING

LOCKSWAY ROAD
From the junction of Stowe Road to Ironbridge Lane on the south side.

From Catisfield Road to Solent Drive on the north side.

EDENBRIDGE ROAD
Opposite Lamp column 6 to Warren Avenue.

WARREN AVENUE
From Edenbridge Road to Moorings Way.

MOORINGS WAY
Outside Numbers 82/84 and from 62 to Osprey Court on the south side.

B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate traffic flows for purposes connected to coronavirus.

C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 22nd February 2021 for 12 months or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
The restrictions shall apply only at such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs. Rescheduled dates for the lengths of road in Section A, or sections thereof, as required, will be notified by the placement of signs and letters to residents and businesses.

D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
