Portsmouth City Council (Landguard Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.07) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 11th January 2021 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
HATFIELD ROAD
From its junction with Maxwell Road to outside No.64 Hatfield Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works for new gas services to 185 Landguard Road.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 11th January 2021 for 5 days or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
The order will continue to be in force for eighteen months if works are postponed due to reasons connected to coronavirus. Rescheduled dates will be notified by the placement of signs and letters to residents and businesses. Notwithstanding the above, the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicle diversion: Landguard Road, Prince Albert Road, Reginald Road, Hatfield Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
