Portsmouth City Council (King Street) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.51) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order comes into operation from 30th April 2021 and the effect will be as follows:-

A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING

KING STREET
From the junction of Eldon Street to the dead end. (Outside No. 70, King Street Tavern).

B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works and social distancing for purposes connected to coronavirus.

C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 30th April 2021 for 18 months or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

D) DIVERSION
No vehicle diversion.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
