Portsmouth City Council (Dundas Lane) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.27) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 1st March 2021 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
DUNDAS LANE
Northbound at the junction of Burrfields Road RAB to Quartremaine Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate City Fibre works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 1st March 2021 for 6 weeks until 11th April 2021 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 19:30 to 05:30.
The order will continue to be in force for eighteen months if works are postponed due to reasons connected to coronavirus. Rescheduled dates will be notified by the placement of signs and letters to residents and businesses.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles diverted from Burrfields Road – Eastern Road – Airport Service Road – Dundas lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained around the works.
