Portsmouth City Council (Clarendon Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.98) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 6th September 2021 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
At its junction with Palmerston Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate a Flowell Crossing.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 6th September 2021 for 2 weeks or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, the order will be in force for 18 months if works are rescheduled due to adverse weather or other works.
Vehicles diverted south from Osbourne Road – Clarence Parade – South Parade – Burgoyne Road – Clarendon Road and vice versa.
Vehicles diverted north from Portland Road – Kent Road – Marmion Road – Richmond Road – Victoria Road South.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
