Portsmouth City Council (Carlisle Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.19) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order comes into operation from 14th February 2021 and the effect will be as follows:-

A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING

CARLISLE ROAD

From the junction of Somers Road on the north side for 90 metres.

From the junction of Somers Road on the south side for 35 metres. (All limited waiting bays only – Disabled and Ambulances Only bays not included)

B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works for purposes connected to coronavirus.

C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 14th February 2021 for 12 months or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
