Portsmouth City Council (Battenburg Avenue) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.121) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 25th October 2021 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
From the junction of London Road to the junction of Randolph Road.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
For 10m east from its junction with London Road.
For 10m west from its junction with Randolph Road.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate City Fibre Ducting works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 25th October 2021 for 5 days or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, access will be maintained for residents during road closures.
Vehicles diverted from Randolph Road – St Chads Avenue – London Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
