Portsmouth City Council (Alec Rose Lane) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No. 97) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 12th September 2021 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
ALEC ROSE LANE
From south of its junction with Dorothy Dymond Street to east of the Guildhall Walk car park entrance.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate crane works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 12th September 2021 for 2 days, plus 2 days contingency, as specified below, or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, in the event of adverse weather, works will take place on either 12th, 19th or 26th September 2021, or 3rd October 2021 on two of the above dates between 06:00 and 20:00.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles diverted from Isambard Brunel Road – Winston Churchill Avenue – Lord Montgomery Way – Hampshire Terrace – St Michaels Road (A3) – King Richard 1 Road – Guildhall Walk and Isambard Brunel Road – Unicorn Road – Alfred Road – Anglesea Road – King Richard 1 Road – Guildhall Walk.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
