Portsmouth City Council (Queens Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.90) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The Order comes into operation from 5th October 2020 and the effect will be as follows:-

A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING

LANGLEY ROAD – Access only from the junction of Queens Road to the junction of Jersey Road/Winchester Road.

B) REASON FOR THE ORDER

To facilitate construction works.

C) DURATION OF THE ORDER

From 5th October 2020 for 8 weeks or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. The order will continue to be in force for eighteen months if works are postponed due to reasons connected to coronavirus.

Rescheduled dates will be notified by the placement of signs and letters to residents and businesses.

D) DIVERSION

Vehicles diverted from Queens Road, Lynn Road, Jersey Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.
