Portsmouth City Council (Laburnum Grove) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.35) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 24th March 2020 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
LABURNUM GROVE – From its junction with London Road to its with Ashling Lane.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate crane operations onto Iceland store roof.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 24th March 2020 for 2 nights or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Notwithstanding the above, works are expected to take place for one night between 19:00 to 22:00.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles diverted from Ashling Lane, Laburnum Grove, London Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained via alternative footway.
