Portsmouth City Council (Henderson Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.110) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 24th November 2020 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
HENDERSON ROAD
On the north side opposite Halliday Crescent for 75m west from the bus stop.
On the south side for 30m west from Halliday Crescent.
Bus stops on north and south side to be suspended.
HALLIDAY CRESCENT
For 30m on both sides from its junction with Henderson Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate ducting works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 24th November 2020 for 2 weeks or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place in two phases.
Phase 1: 24th – 28th November 2020.
Phase 2: 7th – 11th December 2020.
The order will continue to be in force for eighteen months if works are postponed due to reasons connected to coronavirus. Rescheduled dates will be notified by the placement of signs and letters to residents and businesses.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
