Zone summary
- Restriction times: Restrictions apply 24 hours a day.
- Permit holders: Vehicles displaying a valid LA zone permit are exempt from these restrictions when parked within the LA zone.
- Visitor and non-permit parking: Up to 3 hours. No return to zone within 4 hours. At pay and display meters, a scratchcard must be displayed immediately. Visitor permits cannot be used in the pay and display bays on the Terraces.
- Permit validity: LA permits are valid in the pay and display bays in St James's Road and Kings Road. They are also valid in Waltham Street between 6pm and 8am.
- Additional parking restrictions: LA permits are not valid in limited waiting bays or pay and display bays in Elm Grove, King Street, Waltham Street (8am to 6pm), Hampshire Terrace, Landport Terrace, Melbourne Place, St Vincent Street and St Paul's Road. They are also not valid in limited waiting bays in St James's Road.
