Zone summary
- Restriction times: Restrictions apply 24 hours a day.
- Permit holders: Vehicles displaying a valid JA zone permit are exempt from these restrictions when parked within the JA zone.
- Visitor and non-permit parking: Up to 1 hour. No return to zone within 2 hours. Bays outside 20-25 Ordnance Row are permit holders only.
- Permit validity: JA zone permits can also be used in the JD North Portsea parking zone, but are not valid in pay and display areas or limited waiting bays in Queen Street and College Street. JA zone permits are valid in the St George Square pay and display bays.
- John Pounds Centre car park: JA zone permits cannot be used in the John Pounds Centre car park (immediately outside the John Pounds Centre). This car park is for authorised permit holders only. The nearest on-street bays available to JA zone permit holders are in Aylward Street, St James's Street and Kent Street.
- Third resident permit available: No.
