In-line skating, skateboarding and BMX riding are the fastest growing youth activities in the world.
Portsmouth City Council offers free access to skaters and BMX riders at all the nine facilities in the city, which are designed for beginners and intermediates, and complement the international standard ramps available at Southsea Skatepark.
All the ramp sites have notices reminding users that the facilities are unsupervised, and that safety equipment should be worn at all times (helmet, elbow pads, wrist pads and knee pads).
