There are lots of ways to get involved with HDRC Portsmouth, whether that's attending workshops and training, joining learning opportunities, or staying connected with our latest updates.
Whether you're looking to build your skills, connect with others, or explore new ways of working with communities, HDRC Portsmouth offers a range of opportunities throughout the year. From our Summer Learning Sessions – short, practical workshops for people working with communities – to Appreciative Inquiry sessions that help you explore what works, imagine what's possible, and turn strengths into practical action.
Appreciative Inquiry Sessions
Appreciative Inquiry is a way of exploring and creating change by focusing on strengths, successes and opportunities rather than problems and deficits. It encourages people to build on what already works and use those insights to shape the future.
Through these sessions, you'll develop your Appreciative Inquiry skills, apply them to your work, and explore real-world challenges in a practical, collaborative environment.
Please note, the Practice Lab sessions are for people who have previously attended an Introduction to Appreciative Inquiry session.
To get the most from the experience, you're encouraged to attend as many Practice Lab sessions as possible.
