Preliminary flood risk assessment
Portsmouth’s Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment (PFRA) was completed in June 2011 as directed by the Flood Risk Regulations 2009. This assessment is a high-level screening exercise to collect information on past historic and future potential floods. This information was then used to identify flood risk areas in the city – none were identified.
The PFRA was reviewed in 2017 and no new flood risk areas were proposed.
