Portsmouth City Council have been recruiting pubs, bars and restaurants in the city to support the Ask for Angela campaign, designed to help people feel safe on nights out.

If you’re out and start to feel uncomfortable with who you’re with then ask a member of staff in one of the following venues for Angela and they’ll help you to get home safely.

The scheme has been successful in other cities in helping people who have become separated from friends and ended up with a group or individual that they don’t know very well, or people who are on a date where they don’t feel comfortable.
