Portsmouth climate action board
As part of the response to the climate emergency Portsmouth City Council has supported the development of the new cross-agency Portsmouth Climate Action Board. The board will drive the city’s response to the climate emergency by providing a forum to coordinate climate action across the city.
The board held its first meeting on 19 September 2019 and is in the process of developing a climate action strategy. The first meeting was well attended with representatives from a range of Portsmouth-based businesses and organisations.
The next meeting was held in November the meetings that follow are held bi-monthly thereafter.
