There is widespread agreement amongst respondents to the proposed approach to heritage (81%); 37% ‘strongly agree (349 respondents) and 44% ‘agree’ (422 respondents).
Disagreement levels are low at just 4%.

The 4% of respondents who disagree with the proposed approach to heritage were asked which elements they disagree with. The majority of this small cohort selected ‘A heritage centric approach to development should be taken’ (72%).
Respondents highlight the needs to be forward-thinking and to not make heritage the focus, they also criticised the proposal for being too vague.
