Born: 11 August 1982, Minster on Sea, Isle of Sheppey, Kent
Grew up in Helensburgh, Tamerton Foliot, Portsmouth and formative years in Midhurst, West Sussex.
Education: Attended Midhurst Grammar School, Chichester College, the Institute of Naval Medicine, Alverstoke and the Defence Medical Services Training Centre, Keogh Barracks.
Employment: Held roles at his Parents’ pub in Midhurst, The Bricklayers Arms; maintaining and repairing the pitches at Cowdray Park Polo Club; Medical Assistant (Submariner) in the Royal Navy; various roles at a mystery shopping company and an insurance company and currently works as a Healthcare Support Worker on the Acute Stroke Ward at QA Hospital.
Personal: Married to Nikki since 2007, moved to Portsmouth soon after and have lived in Fratton with their three daughters for over ten years.
Interests and Hobbies: Music of all kinds (primarily rock and metal!), plays guitar (as well as trying his hand at any instrument), movies, television, books and audiobooks, art, food, history.
Political History: Previously stood in Fratton in 2014 and 2016, elected in 2018 and again in 2022. Former Labour Party Portsea West branch chair and secretary.
Trade Union: Member of Unite the Union. Long family history of shop stewards and trade unionists.
