Portsmouth City Council’s Reconnecting Communities Fund seeks to support residents classed as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable and those who needed to self-isolate during the COVID-19 pandemic, to re-engage with their communities and get involved in local activities.
It will build on the inspiring work between councils and voluntary sector organisations during the pandemic, recognising the huge impact that COVID-19 has had on individuals and communities across the city, and in particular those who have had to self-isolate or been determined as being vulnerable.
The Fund aims to support Portsmouth residents to access their local community, and to safely return to more normal ways of life.
