Portsmouth International Port (the port) is a major UK port, responsible for handling millions of customers and vital cargo across the globe. It's UK's best-connected port with more destinations than any other.

The port has two deep water conventional quays, operated by Portico. It's a council-owned company with a multi-million pound cargo handling and logistics operation.
The Camber
Located near the harbour entrance, The Camber is the site of Portsmouth’s oldest commercial docks. Much of the surrounding land is managed by the port.
It hosts 20-30 inshore fishing boats, landing fresh fish and shellfish daily. Fish Portsmouth operates the fish market, offering a wide variety of seafood. Facilities are available for short or long-term lay-up of yachts and pleasure boats.
Solent Freeport
The port is part of the Solent Freeport - designated by the government to encourage economic growth and support local jobs.

Port Health Authority
Port Health Authority checks imports of food, feed and specified food contact materials coming into the UK via Portsmouth. They also monitor the control of infectious diseases on board vessels that dock in Portsmouth.
