Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme (HTCS) provides financial support with the cost of travel to specialist or a hospital treatment or tests

If you are eligible to apply for a DWP Budgeting Loan or Universal Credit Budgeting Advance, these can be used to pay for essential travel costs within the UK.

The loan will be deducted from future payments of benefits, so check the repayments will be affordable before taking a loan.
