The Kestrel Centre

Find out about The Kestrel Centre and support for adults with a learning disability.

The Kestrel Centre is home to the Integrated learning disability service (ILDS). We support people with a learning disability who are over 18 and live in Portsmouth. You will need an assessment before you can receive support from the Kestrel Centre. Our team can help with:

  • activities
  • housing
  • staying healthy
  • anything else you need help with

The team is made of: community nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, two liaison nurses at Queen Alexandra hospital, and a psychiatrist and psychologist.
