Extra Care is aimed mainly at older people that need support with their daily living, to live in their own, self-contained home with the security of having someone on hand, if needed, 24 hours a day. People will have a social services-assessed package of care. We offer several Extra Care schemes all with 24 hour care and support through the onsite care team, provided by Sevacare.
Facilities include communal lounge/dining, hair salons, assisted bathing and door entry systems with intercoms and emergency pull-cords. There is a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments.

- Milton Village – 65 one- or two-bedroom flats on three sites, Osprey Court, Crane Court & Brent Court
- Caroline Square – 43 apartments in Portsea
- Maritime House – 80 apartments in Hilsea
All of the above schemes are managed by Housing 21, a registered social landlord.
