Carers strategy
Produced with partners across the city and our carers, our strategy for carers sets out how we will:
- recognise, support and empower unpaid carers in Portsmouth
- enhance their quality of life
- promote their health and wellbeing
- enable them to continue their caring roles while maintaining their own independence and resilience, and,
- in line with the overall Portsmouth Adult Social Care Strategy 2024 to 2027 (PDF), help them feel recognised and valued for the contribution they make to our city.
