If your job means you are out an about, you can apply for a permit to help you park when you are working away from your usual base.
Health and social care staff can apply for an essential visitor permit to allow them to visit clients in their own homes and park nearby. Duty permits are for staff who are working away from their usual place of work.
Essential visitor permits
Essential visitor permits are solely for those health and social care staff whose work involves visiting the homes of clients. The permits are free, and must be requested by the line manager of the member of staff who needs to visit clients.
Duty permits must be requested by the line manager of the member of staff who needs to work away from their normal base.
