Do you have any questions about your local government pension?

Pensions are crucially important, but can be difficult to get to grips with; that is why the council organises regular 1-to-1 information sessions for staff, allowing you the chance to find out more about your pension and to ask any questions you may have.

Three pre-bookable sessions are being held in 2017/2018 to give staff the opportunity to discuss any matter relating to their Local Government Pension Scheme on a 1 to 1 confidential basis.

The sessions are with the Payroll and Pension Manager, Shaun Tetley, and the Senior Pensions, Travel and Benefits Officer, Doug Correa. The sessions can cover areas including:

  • help to understand your annual pension benefit statements
  • advice on voluntary/compulsory redundancy
  • how flexible retirement works
  • finding out how to Increase benefits
  • understanding more about options if you leave
  • transferring previous pension service.

Appointments will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The sessions will be held on the dates below in these locations:

20 March 2018 in the Mary Rose and Victory training rooms Floor 1, Core 3 Civic Offices
