The corporate communications team produces a range of quality publications to inform residents about Portsmouth City Council.

Articles are written and edited by corporate communications and magazines are designed by the in-house design team.

Flagship is Portsmouth City Council’s magazine for residents.

The magazine is produced six times a year and is distributed to 91,000 homes and businesses in the city.

If you have an article that you would like to be published in Flagship, corporate communications will be able to offer you advice and guidance on whether a magazine article will be the most effective way to get your message across.

Advertising space is also available in Flagship, with discounted rates for city council services - corporate communications may also be able to offer a larger article to support a particular campaign.

If you are interested in advertising in Flagship, please contact corporate communications.

House talk is our magazine for tenants and leaseholders.

It is published quarterly and incorporates a variety of informative features, positive resident stories and fun articles provided by tenants and leaseholders.

Article selection is made quarterly by an editorial panel. If you would like to submit an article, please telephone the Resident Participation team free on 08000 321531 or email

Term times is our schools' magazine for children under 11 years old and their parents or carers.

Term Times is produced twice a year, in May and October (before half term) -  26,500 printed copies go to pupils in local authority schools, pre-schools, nurseries, community centres, children's centres, libraries, Portsmouth Family Information Service and council buildings.

If you would like to include information in an issue of Term Times please email by early March for the May edition, or early August for the October edition.

Our weekly e-bulletin is designed to keep residents and visitors up to date with what is going on the following weekend/beginning of the following week.
